What does LifeMinded mean?

LifeMinded is the way we approach community and living well at Bellewood. It's our promise to help you stay active, connected, and engaged, on your own terms. Here, you can shape your days around what brings you joy, from fitness and lifelong learning to meaningful friendships.

What is LifeMinded Rewards?

No one likes worrying about rent hikes year after year, so we created a program that rewards you for staying:

  • After 3 years → rent increases cap at 3%
  • After 5 years → cap drops to 2%
  • After 10 years → your rent locks for life

No huge buy-ins. No surprise fees. Just a straightforward promise that helps you plan ahead with confidence—something you’ll only find at Bellewood.

Do you offer help with daily living?

Yes. You can access personal care services right in your apartment. We partner with trusted local providers—or you can choose your own—to help with grooming, laundry, medication reminders, and other needs as they arise.

Is it easy to meet people?

Very. Bellewood has a welcoming, close-knit feel. Residents often introduce themselves over dinner, at events, or while walking the grounds. Our ambassadors make sure newcomers feel at home from day one.

Can guests stay overnight?

Yes. We have two comfortable guest apartments available for friends and family. Ask the front desk about availability and rates.

Are pets welcome?

Absolutely. Small pets are part of the family here. There’s a one-time fee, and we’ll gladly help connect you with local dog-walking or pet care services if you need them.

How big are the apartments?

We offer a range of sizes, from cozy studios to spacious two-bedrooms, all with full kitchens, balconies or patios, and thoughtful details. You can see floor plans and current pricing on our Apartments & Rates page.

What's included in my monthly rent?

Quite a lot. Every Bellewood apartment includes:

  • Restaurant-style dining – One meal (lunch or dinner) each day, with room service and to-go options available
  • Weekly housekeeping and on-call maintenance
  • Concierge service for errands, reservations, and coordinating extra support
  • Transportation for shopping, appointments, and outings
  • All utilities (except phone), including cable TV
  • 24/7 team and an emergency response system
  • Access to salon and spa services right here on campus
  • Valet parking for you and your guests
Do I need to sign a lease?

No. Apartments are rented month-to-month with a one-time community fee of $2,500, which holds your chosen apartment for up to 30 days. There are no big buy-in fees like you might find elsewhere.

Can I personalize my apartment?

Definitely. Want to paint, hang art, or rearrange your space? Just coordinate with our manager. We want you to make it feel like home.

How often do rents increase?

If you’re not yet eligible for LifeMinded Rewards, rent adjustments happen on your move-in anniversary. The typical increase of between 4-6% is well below the regional average. And once you qualify for Rewards, your rate caps, and then locks for life.

Helpful Details

How does the meal plan work?

Our flexible dining plan includes one meal per day—lunch or dinner—served in our restaurant-style dining room. Use your meals however you like throughout the month, or order to-go or room service anytime.

Do I have assigned seating in the dining room?

No assigned seating here. Sit where you like, or let our maître d’ help you find a spot. You can also reserve a table or order in.

Do you provide transportation?

Yes. We offer scheduled rides for errands, appointments, community outings, and spontaneous adventures, too. Just ask the concierge.

What about parking?

Parking is free and easy. Residents and guests can also enjoy complimentary valet service.

Is Internet included?

Complimentary high-speed Internet is available throughout Bellewood.

Are those real residents on your site?

Yes! We don’t use stock photos or models. Everyone you see on our site lives or works in one of our LifeMinded communities.
